  I first stumbled across Rick Fearon around 2007 or so on youtube.

  He did seem really hot-headed and loud, prideful. Like some guy just causing problems.

  He seems more down to earth now, patient and easier to listen to.

  The currently missing 'Titan' submarine. What do you think?

  any opinions are just speculation, but my guess, being morbid, is that there was not a hull breach and implosion (although that would have been the most merciful fate for them), but instead the amateur level of building this thing meant that it lost power and communication and got itself tangled in the titanic's wreckage or is sitting on the actual seabed with no way to release ballast to resurface.

  terrifying.

  Assumed risk.

  We're talking extreme risks. Like going 3km or so down in the Atlantic

  Or 6km up Mt Everest.

  Anybody doing this,,,well Im just at a loss for words....like seeing corpses along the way

  With taken adventures to going to the moon,,taking adventures to the Titanic on a submarine & climbing Mt Everest there is an assumed risk.

  Going into orbit around the earth,, an assumed risk.

  Im sure those undertaking those adventures are aware of those risks.

  But with each passing day,,,the worst case scenario may play out. Hope this isnt the case & they're rescued and sent home safe.

  so the end was going to come by 2000 as documented in the magazines back in the late 80's early 90's.. so how did they get the time off so badly ( over two decades and still nothing) since the gb is jehovah's earthly mouthpiece right ?

  Regional Convention Attendance

  elder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).

  he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.

  co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.

  Probably realizing you can do your own thinking without relying on the Borg to do it for you is key.

  You dont have to rely on them.

  Who needs who more.?

  Do the rank and file need the GB/Borg? Or is it the other way around?

  Its not rocket science when you really think about it.

  Who and what$$ keeps the Borg going?

  PIMI's stay PIMI for what this thread says.

  I have to venture and say PIMI's stay happy and ignorant in their stupified 'bliss' kind of like in a drunken state.

  Yes, the Borg survives by it's own birthrate, what the Borg is relying on.

  For the craziness to continue. But not for long. this is the 'internet age'. Information is readily abundant at your fingertips 24-7,

  I have to say yes, PIMIs are happier in their 'state' of mind. Once you're PIMO or POMO, POMQ, or whatever, you cannot 'unsee' what you know.

  One interview I think it was on EXJW Critical thinker a year or so back. The interviewee illlustrated that it's like a 'paperclip' when you realize what the Borg is all about. You can't put the paperclip back to it's factory condition. When you know TTATT. You simply can't 'unlearn' or 'unsee' what you have realized.

  That's why PIMI remain in their 'dreamy state of mind'. Chalk it up to the sunk-cost fallacy too.
